It is high temperature resistant adhesive tape. As a masking tape for components with reflecting surfaces the reading quality of the pyrometric IR sensor (IRS) can be drastically improved without influencing the heat transfer during the process. Afterwards the tape can be removed leaving no residues. Additionally the tape can be used as a pick-support for placements systems on uneven surfaces.
